Bungalows Miracervo
The Village
Bungalows directly by the sea, shady pine trees, a quiet beach and the authentic charm of Cervo.
Life by the sea
A seaside village surrounded by nature
Among maritime pines, flowers, sand and quiet, Bungalows Miracervo preserves the simple and authentic charm of holidays as they used to be.
It is located at the foot of Cervo, one of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”. The bungalows are just 10 m from the sea, and the complex, shaded by magnificent pine trees and surrounded by colourful flowers, is very well equipped for families.
The private parking inside the village, the solarium directly on the beach with sun loungers, umbrellas and games for younger children are included in the facilities.
Our guests can also use rowing boats, single or double canoes and small sailing boats free of charge, to enjoy the sea in complete freedom. There is also the possibility to have fun with a game of table tennis or table football facing the beach, and during the summer season we organise small parties and games for children.
The sandy beach in front of the village meets a clean and particularly calm sea, as it is perfectly protected in a small bay by a rocky barrier where the waves of the open sea break and fade. From May to October the water temperature is always pleasant, and it is possible to touch the seabed in almost every part of the bay. The sea also has no species dangerous to humans, and there are lifeguards on the neighbouring beaches. The mild summer climate never reaches excessively high temperatures, as a light constant breeze pleasantly refreshes the air.
The village is compact and well defined, making it a safe place where children can play freely and parents can feel at ease. The quiet of the night, the gentle sound of the sea waves and the clean sea air naturally encourage restful sleep. Especially enchanting are the starry sky and the silvery reflection of the moon on the water, in a village far from the light pollution of the cities.
From the village, you can reach a grocery store on foot in 5 minutes and, in 2 minutes, the pharmacy, bakery, bank, post office, tobacconist and bars; less than 50 metres away there is a first-aid point, while Diano railway station is 4 km away and Andora railway station is 6 km away. In Cervo, people mainly get around on foot or by bicycle.
The village of Cervo
Between sea, history and landscape
A village overlooking the sea, where medieval alleys, green hills and Ligurian traditions create an authentic and timeless atmosphere.
The village is framed by the characteristic and picturesque medieval centre of Cervo, which, perched above the sea and protected by Saracen towers and historic sixteenth-century walls, has perfectly preserved its unique architectural essence over time.
Surrounded by the lush and aromatic greenery of Mediterranean scrub, by the gentle hills of maritime pines and olive groves behind it, and by the clear sea it overlooks, the village offers many opportunities for outdoor sports activities, both in nature and, of course, in the water.
The entire historic centre, with its charming cobbled alleys and artisan workshops, can only be explored on foot. This makes Cervo an oasis of peace and tranquillity, where you can breathe clean, healthy air, free from noisy traffic.
The varied sandy and rocky coastline meets the needs of every kind of visitor, and the rich seabed is spectacular and well worth exploring.
From a gastronomic point of view, the renowned restaurants of Cervo, located both along the coast and in the upper part of the village, remain faithful to the Mediterranean diet and offer genuine local dishes, often based on the fresh catch of the morning.
As for its remarkable cultural heritage, Cervo is dominated by a medieval castle, once the residence of the Marquises of Clavesana, which today hosts interesting art exhibitions and the permanent Ethnographic Museum of Western Liguria. In the village, ancient noble palaces open their doors onto the “carruggi”, the narrow Ligurian lanes, where you can also find the Romanesque portals of the Oratory of Santa Caterina. On the church square of the Corallini, the Baroque Church of San Giovanni Battista offers its concave façade as one of the most characteristic images of the village.
As for events, Cervo is known for its International Chamber Music Festival, which has been held for more than fifty years and where some of Europe’s most important musicians perform in evocative moonlit concerts, to be enjoyed in absorbed silence.
The Festival and the renowned music academies have also earned Cervo the title of “Village of Music”.
In the heart of the Riviera dei Fiori and the Gulf of Diano Marina, Cervo is protected behind by hills cultivated with terraced olive groves. Thanks to its fully sunny position, it enjoys an exceptionally healthy climate, where the balsamic air rich in sea iodine blends with the oxygen-rich air descending from the mountains, creating a mild warmth that invites bathing in the sea until late October.
The limited temperature variations, the high number of sunshine hours, the low humidity, and the complete absence of industry and heavy traffic make Cervo an ideal health destination not only for summer stays, but at any time of year.
The extraordinary variety of beaches, in addition to the traditional sandy ones, also offers completely free gravel stretches. The evocative rocks of “Porteghetto” and “Ciappellette” are also freely accessible, as are other areas further east, which can only be reached from the sea and are therefore especially loved by naturists and by those who enjoy exploring untouched seabeds.
At the foot of the village, a stretch of coast is protected by breakwaters, so the sea there is always calm, creating a safe beach that is ideal even for the youngest children.
Thanks to the rocky seabed, which prevents sedimentation, the water is crystal clear everywhere, earning the village the “Blue Flag”, which guarantees its exceptional purity.
A boat departing from nearby Diano Marina offers daily mini-cruises along the coast, including a trip around Gallinara Island opposite Albenga. For those with stronger nautical ambitions, from nearby Andora or Imperia a motorboat departs every day towards the open sea, into the heart of the International Sanctuary for the Protection of Cetaceans, where whale-watching trips look for dolphins and whales in their natural habitat.
Recommended marine sports include snorkeling, swimming, rowing and much more. In the protected Ciapà park behind the village, covering 30,000 square metres, there are numerous trails that can be explored on foot, by mountain bike or downhill. And remember to bring your camera — the views are breathtaking!
